William "Bill" Imhoff

William “Bill” Imhoff age 81 of Ashton, Iowa passed away peacefully Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at Sibley Specialty Care in Sibley.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 AM Monday, April 19, 2021 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ashton Iowa with Fr. Siby Punnoose officiating. Burial will follow in Ashton at the St. Mary’s Cemetery. Social distancing guidelines will be followed and masks are required.

Visitation will be Sunday, April 18th from 4:00 to 7:00 PM with the family present at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ashton. There will be a Rosary at 4:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be directed to the Ashton Fire Department or the Eagle Riders.

Jurrens Funeral Home of Ashton is in charge of arrangements.

     William “Bill” Imhoff was born December 14, 1939 to George and Elizabeth (May) Imhoff in Ashton, Iowa. Bill was raised in Ashton and attended St. Joseph’s Catholic School. On September 12, 1959 Bill was united in marriage to Donna Jean Tremmel at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ashton. They made their home in Ashton and to this union two children were born, David and Julie. Bill worked at the family business, Ashton Motor and eventually took over and worked there his entire life. He was a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church. In the past, Bill was a county supervisor for Osceola County, a member of the Ashton Fire Department where he was the Chief for many years, and a member of the Eagle Riders. Bill had a strong connection with the community and was always there to help out. He enjoyed motorcycling, classic cars, socializing, and having coffee with friends. Most of all, he enjoyed visiting his family.
     Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Julie (Steve) Still of Council Bluffs, IA; grandchildren, Brad(Christine)Still, Stephanie(Mark)Pritts, Seth (Holly)Still, and Shane Still; four great grandchildren; siblings, John Imhoff and Dorothy “Dot” Honkomp, and many nieces, nephews and extended family.
     He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Elizabeth Imhoff; wife, Donna; son, David John Imhoff; great grandson, Brennen Still; and brother, Jim Imhoff.
