Suzanne Cuttell

Suzanne “Suzie” Cuttell, age 74 of Rock Rapids, IA died Monday, December 8, 2025, at Lyon Specialty Care in Rock Rapids, IA.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. followed by a 2:00 p.m. memorial service at Jurrens Funeral Home in Rock Rapids, IA. Burial of her cremated remains will follow in the Riverside Cemetery at Spencer, IA.

Suzanne Cuttell was born May 25, 1951, in Spencer, Iowa, the daughter of James and Patricia Cuttell. In 1954, they moved to Rock Rapids, IA. Suzie was a member of the United Methodist Church of Rock Rapids as a young person and later attended services at Faith Baptist Church in Rock Rapids. Suzie graduated in 1970 from Central Lyon High School. She always enjoyed reading, spending time with her dog, Abby, playing Gin Rummy with her cousin, Barb and spending time with her cousins at her grandma Cuttell’s cottage at Okoboji. When her mother developed health problems, Suzie entered Premier Estates in 2005. There she met many friends and was involved in their various activities. In September of 2024, Suzie became ill and was admitted to Care Initiatives Hospice at Lyon Specialty Care in Rock Rapids where on December 8, 2025, she passed away at the age of seventy-four.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Suzie is survived by many cousins and a host of many friends.
