      Paula Jacobson, age 66, of Rock Rapids, IA, died on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at Pleasant Acres Care Center at Hull, IA.

      Visitation will be Wednesday, February 21, 2024, from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM the Jurrens Funeral Home of Rock Rapids.

     Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at Jurrens Funeral Home of Rock Rapids with Rev. Matt Polsdofer, officiating.  Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery at Rock Rapids, IA.

     Paula Jacobson was born June 14, 1957, at Sioux Falls, South Dakota.  She was adopted by Donald and Faith (Van Hove) Jacobson.  She graduated from Victorville High School.  Paula lived with her parents in California, Sioux Falls, South Dakota and Rock Rapids, Iowa.  She enjoyed visiting with family and friends, puzzle books, watching TV, animals and going to the Drive-In for ice cream.  She attended Immanuel Lutheran Church in Rock Rapids where she made many friendships with her church family over the years.  She became a resident of the Rock Rapids Health Centre and in 2022, she transferred to Pleasant Acres Care Center in Hull where she passed away this past Thursday morning, February 15, 2024, at the age of sixty-six.

     She is survived by many cousins.

     Paula was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Faith.
