M. Diane Spiegel-Stevens

M. Diane Spiegel-Stevens, age 85, of Clarendon Hills, IL, passed away peacefully on November 25, 2025.

Beloved mother of Stephanie Stevens (Salvatore) Barbatano and Margaret Stevens (Brian) Chung; cherished grandmother of James Barbatano, Sebastian Chung, Nicholas Chung, and Alexander Chung.

Diane was an avid art historian who began teaching art history to students in the Detroit Institute of Arts docent program. Several years later, she moved to Chicago where she continued her passion for art history by the volunteering in the Art Institute Chicago’s docent program for over thirty years.

Visitation Friday, December 5th, 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Sullivan Funeral Home, 60 South Grant Street, Hinsdale, IL. Funeral Saturday, December 6th, family, and friends to meet for a 11:00 AM Funeral Service at St. Peter and St. Paul Orthodox Church, 6980 County Line Road, Burr Ridge, IL.
