Kelly Hadler age 48 of Sioux Falls, SD died Sunday, June 14, 2020 at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD.
Funeral service and burial will take place at 11:00 AM, Friday, June 19, 2020 at the Beaver Creek Cemetery in Beaver Creek, MN with Pastor Steve Carmany officiating. Public is invited to attend, please bring lawn chair if desired.
Public visitation will be Thursday, June 18th from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM with family present at the Jurrens Funeral Home of Rock Rapids, IA. We will encourage social distancing at the visitation.
Kelly Lee Hadler was born August 13, 1971 in Luverne, MN to Rodney and Carol (Arp) Hadler. He was raised and educated in Hills-Beaver Creek. He continued his education at Worthington Community College.
On October 14, 1995 he was united in marriage to Dawn Hoogeveen and shared 16 years of marriage with her. To this union three daughters were born. As a family they lived in Mankato, Luverne and Yardley, PA. Kelly was in the promotion business and worked for Promotion Works, Inc. in Mankato, CCL and finally Schwans both in Sioux Falls, SD.
Kelly enjoyed golf, football and all sports and construction. He enjoyed his special early morning talks with his dad, and a treasured family trip to Mexico. One of the fond memories the family will hold of Kelly will be that he was always the one who supplied the great fireworks for their annual 4th of July get togethers. He enjoyed camping with his family and friends. But mostly Kelly loved and adored his girls. His daughters and new granddaughter Akira meant the world to him.
As a result of health issues Kelly struggled with he passed away at the Avera McKennan hospital this past Sunday at the age of 48. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his daughters, MaKenna Hadler (Josh Grunley) of Brandon, SD, Tia Hadler and Morgan Hadler, both of Luverne; granddaughter, Akira; parents, Rodney and Carol Hadler; sister, Danette (Doug) Deraqisch; brother, Mark (Brenda) Hadler of Edgerton, MN; sister, Tracy (Craig) Soehl of Marshall, MN; nieces, nephews and other extended family members.
Kelly was preceded in death by his brother, Brad Hadler; maternal grandparents, Verlyn and Luetta Arp; and paternal grandparents, Raymond and Thelma Hadler.
