Joni Wulf

  Lester & Rock Rapids, Iowa

     Joni Wulf age 48, of Rock Rapids, Iowa died Friday, June 14, 2024, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

     Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at the Apostolic Christian Church in Lester, Iowa.  Burial will follow in the Apostolic Christian Church Cemetery at Lester, Iowa.

     Visitation will be Tuesday, June 18th from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. with the family present at the Apostolic Christian Church Fellowship Hall in Lester.

     Arrangements are in the care of the Jurrens Funeral Home of Rock Rapids, Iowa.

     Joni Lyn Wulf was born December 19, 1975 at Rock Rapids, Iowa the daughter of Dale and Becky (Leuthold) Wulf.   She was raised on a farm near Hills, Minnesota and graduated from West Lyon High School in 1994. She received a Business Degree from Southeast Vo-Tech in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and worked for Sioux Valley Hospital System.  Most recently, she achieved her CNA license and enjoyed her present employment at Whispering Heights in Rock Valley, Iowa.

     She will fondly be remembered for her contagious smile and enjoyed growing up with many cousins who share many memories.  She was blessed with special talent to play several musical instruments.  In 1996, she was baptized at the Apostolic Christian Church in Lester, Iowa.

     Since Joni was challenged with limited capabilities, God provided two loving and caring families to accept and adopt with open hearts and arms her two sons, Brandon Lee to AJ and Lisa Smit, and Tyler John to Rusty and Erica Pick.

     Other survivors with precious memories include her parents, Dale and Becky Wulf of Lester, Iowa; two sisters, Lisa (Kurt) Sinn and their children, Chelsea (Brian) Manz, Tiffany (fiance, Owen Getz), Cameron, Tianna, Caden, Braylin and Chandler of Ohio and Tammy (Travis) Dettwyler and their children, Kylie, Talyn and Rayna of Oregon; along with many uncles, aunts and cousins.

     Joni was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bill and Leona Wulf; Paul and Betty Leuthold; and two young cousins, Drendon Paul Stickling and Landon Paul Wulf.
