Irvin Lancaster

Mr. Irvin "Irv" Allen Lancaster, 89, of Dutton, AL, born March 19, 1932 in Frostburg, Maryland, passed away on Friday, September 3, 2021. He was a US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict in the tank division. Mr. Lancaster loved the Lord and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. He enjoyed wood working, baseball, reading and spending time with family.


Mr. Lancaster is survived by his daughter, Ruth Madagan (Darrel); brother, John Lancaster (Josephine); grandchildren, Josh Thompson (Katherine) and John Madagan (Angie); great grandchildren, Thackery Thompson, Kaleigh Madagan and Ashleigh Madagan and host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lancaster; one brother and four sisters.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Trinity Baptist Church in Alabama with Bro. Duaine Griggs officiating. 

A graveside service will take place Friday, September 10th at 2:00 p.m. at Union Cemetery in Harris, Iowa.
