Carol Hadler, age 81 of Hills, MN died Monday, July 13, 2026, at the Tuff Memorial Home in Hills, MN.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Monday, July 20, 2026, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Hills, MN.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM, Monday, July 20, 2026, at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Hills, MN with the Rev. Lori Bonkoski, officiating.

Interment will follow the service at the Beaver Creek Cemetery, Beaver Creek, MN.

Carol Jean (Arp) Hadler was born, August 7, 1944, at Pipestone, MN the daughter of Verlyn and Luetta (Scott) Arp. Her family made their home in Beaver Creek, MN where she was baptized at First Presbyterian Church. Carol attended elementary and high school in Beaver Creek.

On January 13, 1960, Carol was united in marriage to her soul mate, Rodney Hadler, at the St Catherine Catholic Church in Luverne, MN. Together they shared 65 wonderful years of marriage, to this marriage they were blessed with five beautiful children. As a family they lived in Luverne, Valley Springs, on the family farm north of Beaver Creek, and in Hills. They were active members of the Bethlehem Lutheran church in Hills, MN. They built a life centered on faith, family and love.

Carol enjoyed crocheting, puzzles, golfing, playing cards, gardening and spending time with her puppies. She loved her family trips to the lakes and shopping trips with her daughters to Sioux Falls. She collected Snow Babies and enjoyed going on vacations with her brothers and sisters-in-laws to many places like the Black Hills, Las Vegas and Mexico. Carol cherished their annual 4th of July family celebrations. She loved spending time with her kids, grandkids, and great grandkids. Their time spent together was always filled with lots of love and laughter. Carol spent her last few years as a resident of the Tuff Memorial Home in Hills where she passed away peacefully this past Monday afternoon, July 13, 2026, at the age of eighty-one. Her legacy of love and thankfulness will continue to inspire her family and all who knew her.

She is survived by her children, Danette (Doug) Deragisch of Marshall, MN; Mark (Brenda) Hadler of Edgerton, MN and Tracy (Craig) Soehl of Marshall, 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; a brother, Bob (Roxy) Arp and a sister-in-law, Becky Arp as well as many other relatives and friends.

Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Rodney Hadler; two sons, Brad Hadler and Kelly Hadler; her parents, Verlyn and Luetta Arp and two brothers, Jerry Arp and William Arp.
