Audrey Jean Nuss

Audrey Nuss, age 95 of West Des Moines, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at Bickford of West Des Moines.

There will be a visitation on Saturday, January 3, 2026, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the McLaren’s Funeral Chapel (801 19th Street) in West Des Moines, Iowa.

On Monday, January 5, 2026, there will be a visitation from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Jurrens Funeral Home in Ocheyedan, with burial to follow in the Ocheyedan Township Cemetery.

Audrey was born on July 2nd, 1930, in Ocheyedan, Iowa, to Albert Pedley and Irene Pearson. She graduated from Ocheyedan High School in 1948 and later met and married James Nuss on March 22nd, 1951.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Dale Nuss, and husband, James.

She is survived by Michael (Karlene) Nuss of West Des Moines; Grey (Marsha) Nuss of Greensburg, PA; Curtis (Melissa) Nelson of Altoona, IA; Laura Findle and Gracie Findle of Greensburg, PA; Julie (Zac) Clark of Ankeny, IA; Brian (Mindy) Glenn of Bloomfield, IA.
