I remember Mary Ann fondly, as she acted in a local production as the "Wicked Queen" in "Snow White and the Woodland Animals." She was just wonderful with the kids in the production and, in real life,as far opposite of the character she played as possible. She was quite a generous and loving lady. May God give you peace and comfort and may shared memories help you at this sad time.

I will always remember Mary Ann coming to my house and asking if I wanted to be on the Laurens Library Board. I always enjoyed attending meetings with her. She was always very good to me and my family. She will be dearly missed. Amber Evans
caryl dukes Spirit Lake,Iowa June 28, 2012 1:41 PM		I am so thankful that I know about through the obit that is on FB.Yes, I knew Mom and also Marilee some..I ran paths with her in church activities and if we would meet up on the street..have a good old chat..She and I both love to talk..We lived in Marathon for 42 and a half years until a year ago and we are up at the Lakes and then have a cabin in Mn..My prayers and love go to all of your family despite the fact I am sure you don't remember me.The angels are going to be very receptive as she returns to her final destination!

I know how hard it is to lose a parent. Cherish all your memories, as they will help you get through the next days, weeks and months. Knowing that she is in a better place will help ease the pain, but you will forever miss her. Take care

At the time I was kinda frustrated at her persistance..but after I got it done I was SO GREATFUL for her NOT giving up on me! She even drove me to Ft Dodge to take my tests...not the greatest driver I might add!! LOL But we made it! She was always very nice to me!Hugs to you Ann And Marilee!

There are many, many wonderful memories of your folks and my folks...the trips they took and all the card games. She was a fun lady...and I imagine she is organizing card games and planting tulips in Heaven. Love and prayers from us....sending hugs your way.
